Scope: This project is to provide a replacement of the air cooled chiller plant and associated piping, as well as to provide a replacement of existing electrical equipment and associated feeders. The new air cooled chiller plant will be located in a new ground-level utility yard located adjacent to the building; with the existing air-cooled chiller plant being removed from the roof.

This construction services work will include carefully removing the existing chillers and making repairs / modifications to the existing systems to accommodate the installation of two (2) new air-cooled chillers.

The public bid opening will be held at the West Bank Purchasing Department at 200 Derbigny Street, Suite 4400, Gretna, LA 70053 beginning at 2:30 p.m. on each bid opening date for the following project: Furnish Labor, Materials and Equipment to Replace One (1) Existing Three Hundred (300) Ton Air-Cooled Chiller Compressor at the Central Plant for the Jefferson Parish Department of General Services.

At the Allied Health Building, construct new boiler and air-cooled chiller plants. Replace fan coil units. Upgrade existing HVAC controls. Perform related repair and replacement of associated systems. At the Macon Cove campus, replace existing valves located in access tunnels. Bids will be received and opened at the Designer's office in Memphis, Tennessee.
