Please see attached SF 330 Request for the AE Install Boiler & Upgrade Cooling Tower project at the Marion Campus of the Northern IN VA Healthcare System. Interested AE Firms are encouraged to submit SF 330s for consideration.**NOTE** NAICS has been revised from 541310 to 541330.
The A/E will develop the following add alternates in addition to replacing the cooling towers: Alternate #1 will provide piping and associated automatic valving and/or other controls to cross connect the cooling tower basins and cooling tower supply of Cooling Towers #1 & #2 with Cooling Tower #3 to provide improved redundancy and flexible plant operations. Cooling Tower #3 is rated for a nominal 1000 tons capacity.
New cooling towers shall be energy efficient with legionella control, reduced drift, water savings, etc. The chilled water lines will tie into the existing chilled water loop for a more robust chilled water system. Building shall be designed such that the architectural style is like other campus buildings.
