V1.0 4-16Synopsis:NASA/NSSC has a requirement for LS-DYNA Core License.NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to Livermore Software Technology Corporation - 7374 LasPositias Rd Livermore, CA, 94551-5110 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determinedthat LSTC is the sole provider of LS-DYNA Core License.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.

The purchase order will specifically procure one (1) LS-DYNA Large System Core software license manufactured by ANSYS, Inc. The license shall be effective from 10/01/2021 to 09/30/2022. AuthorityThis acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106(b)(1) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source.

Description A LS-DYNA Large System Core (39 cores) software license manufactured by ANSYS, Inc. is required. The license will be used for analysis of finite element models, including pre- and post-processing capabilities, and full compatibility with a large number of existing LS-DYNA input and output files is required.
