OUR PHASE I STUDY DEMONSTRATED THAT MUONS, THE LONG-RANGE CHARGED COMPONENT OF GCR SHOWERS, CAN PENETRATE SSBS ON THE ORDER OF A KM IN DIAMETER OR LESS, PROVIDING INFORMATION ON THEIR INTERIOR STRUCTURE.
