Funds will be used to equip key Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), including, but not limited to state, county, city, and tribal EOCs, with datacasting receivers to receive alerts from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and Cal OES over secure network connections. These receivers will provide output, in various forms, including control switch signals, text, audio, and video.
