This Design Build contract is for the design and construction of the 3rd floor of the Golden-Collum Memorial Federal Building &Courthouse to accommodate renovations to the 3rd floor large Courtroom 3A for the US District Courtlocated at 207 NW 2nd Street, Ocala, FL 34475.
The project would design and construct a new stand alone Courthouse on a new site in Hartford, CT. The courthouse would be for a full Judiciary program that includes District and Bankruptcy functions, a USMS suite and a Trial Preparatory space for the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The proposed program for the courthouse includes approximately 280,000 GSF.The current estimated magnitude of construction cost is $225,000,000 to $275,000,000.
The new courthouse operations will include a steady stream of visitors: jurors, legal teams and other court-related stakeholders.The Midtown neighborhood – where the new courthouse is being built - does not currently offer adequate parking options necessary to support the daily needs for future courthouse operations.
