The requirement is for crane hoisting services with a 175-ton Crane to offload ARMAG building weighting 65,000 with physical dimensions of 44’x1’5x10’ and position it into the designated area at 1115/1116 Nohili Rd, PMRF, Kekaha, HI 96752. The estimated rental period for this acquisition is 7 November 2022 - 5 December 2022.

A ceiling mounted 2-ton electrically operated overhead crane/hoist use is required by Technical Orders35A2-2-9-21, 35A4-6-1 and 35A4-2-5-1 for the disassembly, inspection, repair and shipment of aerospaceground equipment to include aircraft jacks, diesel engines, aircraft maintenance stands, generators and heavyissue supply items. This acquisition will include one year of maintenance and warranty.
Project Description :
The contractor shall provide operators, a rigging team, and one (1) Crane capable of hoisting an portable ARMEG (71 tons) from concrete stand at B8100, load on trailer; transport to B1630; Off load from trailer; set in place at B1630. The Crane will be used to upload & download ARMEG from the trailer and set in new position location, Fort Riley, KS, as outlined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The 355TH CES is requesting the renewal of a follow-on five year service contract for Crane and Hoist Inspection Services. This service will ensure that all crane and hoisting equipment on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base stays fully mission capable throughout the lifetime of the contract.
