The City has entered preliminary negotiations with multiple master-plan community developers. One proposed project is on +/-138 acres (about twice the area of a large shopping mall) located on vacant agricultural land, next to Highway 101 and approximately Gloria Road. The Project would permit 610 single-family units and one site with 70 multi-family units.

RFP Primary Objective 2: Gain a thorough understanding of the Community Based Learning Program total proposed costs, including but not limited to: The scale (# of program locations) proposed to serve what number of MPS students, for what terms during the fiscal year (Summer/school year). RFP Primary Objective 3: To select Community Based Learning partners with a proven program strategy that will accelerate student learning.

All Projects developed under this RFP will be community shared solar or remote net crediting systems—installations that will generate power on their own meters (not behind a NOLA-PS meter) and whose output will be shared among multiple off-site subscribers. NOLA-PS will not purchase or receive credits for any of the power produced by these systems. NOLA-PS cannot cover any costs, capital or otherwise, associated with the Projects.
