Scope: The Town of Leesburg is requesting written price quotations for the purchase of 0.56 nutrient credits of phosphorus from an approved nutrient credit bank. These nutrient credits are to provide the required water quality treatment for improvements associated with the construction of Battlefield Parkway Trail Across the Route 15 Bypass in the Town of Leesburg.
The impacts are located within the Middle Potomac River Watershed, Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) 02070008, and are associated with the Northstar Boulevard from Route 50 to Tall Cedars Parkway Road Project. The credits will provide compensatory mitigation for the proposed impacts of the construction of the segment of Northstar Boulevard from Route 50 to Tall Cedars Parkway.
At the end of year five (5) the CONTRACTOR and District will inventory route vehicles, and when the routes are prepared for Contract Year six (6), for every vehicle less than that which was utilized the previous year, the District will receive a per vehicle per day credit.
The State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) desires to procure valley oak woodland and riparian habitat preservation credits to satisfy the mitigation requirements of 2 projects located in Fresno County along State Route 180. Mitigation banks for the desired credits do not currently exist in Fresno County.
