The City of Victoria is requesting proposals from Consultants/Consulting firms for multiple Traffic Signal, Crosswalk and Sidewalk Civil Design projects.
Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: temporary traffic control; pedestrian traffic control; vegetation and tree removal; pavement removals and minor grading; new concrete curb and gutter; new concrete sidewalk; new ADA ramps; conduit and wiring installation of new crosswalk pedestrian signals; conduit and wiring installation of new rectangular rapid flashing beacons; illumination modifications; pavement markings
Below are the proposed improvements: • Manhattan Avenue at 36th Street – Install crosswalks at north and south legs, construct ADA compliant ramps at all corners with signage. • Valley Drive at Flournoy Road – Install crosswalk at south leg, construct ADA compliant ramps at both corners with signage. Coordination with City staff and communities needs to be established prior to completion of the conceptual design.

ITEM AND DESCRIPTION Shawnee County is soliciting bids for: Project S-690003.01: Provide all necessary materials, equipment, signs, temporary traffic control and labor to complete the installation of a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) Pedestrian Crosswalk Warning System in compliance with the MUTCD Interim Approval (IA-21) at the intersection of SE Croco Road & SE 30th Terrace.
Other Details The ATP Project includes the following safety enhancements: new curb extensions, high visibility crosswalks, additional lighting, accessibility improvements, widened sidewalks at street corners and transit stops, leading pedestrian intervals at signalized intersections, mast arm mounted Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, and a median refuge at one non-signalized intersection.
