The City of Victoria is requesting proposals from Consultants/Consulting firms for multiple Traffic Signal, Crosswalk and Sidewalk Civil Design projects.
Design service firms that would like to propose for this project will have to submit innovated recommendations to the City. Below are the proposed improvements: • Manhattan Avenue at 36th Street – Install crosswalks at north and south legs, construct ADA compliant ramps at all corners with signage. • Valley Drive at Flournoy Road – Install crosswalk at south leg, construct ADA compliant ramps at both corners with signage.
STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIES CENTRAL REGION, DESIGN & ENGINEERING SERVICES NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSANC Terminal Loop Road Improvements Design Services RFP No. 25202067 The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional civil design services to rehabilitate or reconstruct Terminal Loop Road, and the associated crosswalks, curb ramps and sidewalk.
All designs must meet CDOT requirements.In general, the project involves the design of a traffic roundabout at the intersection of Adams Avenue and Jackson Street in the City of Pueblo, CDOT Project SHO M086-093, (24462). The roundabout shall provide a free flow condition for all turning movements and will eliminate stop signs.
The project consists of improvements at 50 street intersections surrounding 12 local public schools including construction of 68 each ADA compliant curb ramps, installation of 87 ladder-back crosswalks, installation of pedestrian crossing signs and 12 RRFB signals, and advanced pedestrian crossing/yield signs in accordance with the latest edition of the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
The Systemic Pedestrian Treatments- Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons Project consists of the installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons, appropriate thermoplastic marked crosswalks, and ADA curb ramps at 8 high risk locations within the City. This is a federally funded project and has a mandatory 0% DBE goal for the Preliminary Engineering phase.
Medians and concrete curb and gutter, as well as striping and appropriate signage will be installed on all four quadrants to delineate lanes and instruct drivers. Crosswalks, curb ramps, landscaping, and other appurtenances will also be installed.
