It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the Biomerieux Automated Blood Culture System and Reagents that can meet the agency s needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325413 (In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing) and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6550 (In Vitro Diagnostic Substances, Reagents, Test Kits and Sets).
The system must be equipped with a cooled reagent storage system (6°C / 43°F) to enable low volume dispensing (100 - 1,000μL) for up to 6 reagents such as growth factors and transfection mixes to flasks7. The system must have the ability to process Corning HYPERFlasks, providing a 10-fold increase in cell production capability8. The system must be able to send system updates via email.9.
