Services include the collection of coffee cups from an RMOW Village Services facility; followed by sorting and distribution to an appropriate downstream recycler, in accordance with the requirements set out in the attachment. An audit of the RMOW’s streetscape waste bins showed that 21% of all waste collected by weight in Whistler Village is single-use coffee cups. In BC, a system exists to recycle these cups effectively.
