There are eight spillway crest gates on the Main Dam Spillway, 42-ft wide by 50-ft tall, connected to an individual trunnion assembly on each side of the gate. Each individual trunnion is currently secured to the dam with one 6-inch by 16-inch passive steel anchor extending through the pier and terminating at an anchor plate deep in the concrete monolith beneath the pier.
