The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) intends to award a Purchase Order to VRC Companies, LLC, 13350 Old Lexington Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107, for offsite Data Tape Storage and Archiving including transport, storage and destruction which are installed at NIEHS, Research Triangle Park campus.
A general scope of the required services is as follows: - Provide scheduled monthly pickups of data tapes from five of the United States Mint's facilities across the country (defined in the draft PWS), and perform emergency pickups, as needed; - Deliver and store the data tapes at off-site storage facilities provided by the Contractor at each of the five geographical locations mentioned in the draft PWS; - Destroy data tapes after the retention period
ORIGINAL SOLICITATION: The Indian Health Service, Nashville Area Office is requesting quotes for three Dell PowerVault TL2000 Tape Library systems. Due to increases in storage at the Catawba Service Unit, Unity Youth Treatment Center, and the Nashville Area Office Contingency of Operation Plan (COOP) site, a tape library system is required at each location to ensure that nightly backups can backup large amounts of data.
