It is the Government's intention to enter into either a Single or Multiple-Award-Contract (MAC) program for performance of the following services: Commercial depot level repair and upgrade of LM2500 Turbine Mid Frames (TMF), a subset of U.S. Navy LM2500 Single Shank Turbine (SST) Gas Generator Assemblies (GGA). The Navy provided GFM TMF assemblies are units which have accumulated thousands of hours of operating time on Navy ships.

The intent of this requirement is to provide all services, supplies, materials, equipment, and manpower necessary to provide aircraft depot level services, including overhaul, heavy aircraft repair/modification, component repair, and obsolescence to support all MASPO-managed aircraft and aircraft support systems. MASPO provides support to customers worldwide for a variety of non-standard rotorcraft systems.

This requirement is for depot level maintenance of the centrifuge at Wright-Patterson AFB.NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE:  The NAICS Code is 541990. Air Force Research Lab (AFRL/PZLEQ), Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, contemplates awarding a single source purchase order as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to Environmental Tectonics Corporation (ETC).  This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. 

The primary purpose of the DLM program is to accomplish Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM), aircraft structural inspections, and repairs concurrent with zonal inspections at a depth and skill level greater than that available at Organizational maintenance levels. The DLM requirements may also include unprogrammed maintenance (UDLM) and the deployment of Contractor Field Teams (CFT) to support drop-in maintenance.

The USG does not have a depot capability with the unique test equipment necessary to support depot level overhaul and repair of HAWK major end items (MEIs).
