The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia intends to procure ship service diesel engine and main propulsion diesel engine interim training services on a Sole Source basis from MTU America, Inc. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and award with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106 (b). 

NSWCPD has a requirement to purchase (8) Propulsion Diesel Engine Governor/Actuator. This requirement is being procured on a Sole source basis to the OEM Woodward, Inc. Please see the RFQ for more details.  All quotes must be quote all items referrenced in section B.If your quote does not have the information listed in the RFQ document attached your quote will be disqualified. 

The Government is seeking information on the most current and reliable propulsion systems that can be procured and installed. The existing propulsion system is a non-fuel polisher Detroit Diesel (DD) 16-V-92TA marine engine.
