The Salt Lake City s Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1, on services for data storage on diffusion MRI project with Brighton & Women s Hospital, Inc. These services will occur with base plus four option years, from 2023 to 2028. The purpose is to develop and test algorithms to harmonize the data acquired on multiple scanners.

Readable Information (MRI) shall include the serial number, part number, and EID per Mil-STD-130, construct #2.Human Readable Information (HRI) markings shall include: nomenclature, P/N, S/N, and original manufacturer’s CAGE code.

MARKING FORMAT: IUID MARKING INFORMATION SHALL BE INCLUDE MACHINE READABLE INFORMATION (MRI) AND HUMAN READABLE INFORMATION (HRI). FONT AND SIZE OF INFORMATION WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE MANUFACTURER, ENSURING ALL REQUIRED CONTENT IS INCLUDED IN ALLOWABLE SPACE SPECIFIED IN "MARKING LOCATION". A DEVIATION/WAIVER REQUEST MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE MANUFACTURER AND APPROVED BY ENGINEERING PRIOR TO ANY DEVIATION FROM THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS.

Findings from this project will identify psychosocial factors that influence immunological and neurobiological systems and clarify how these risk factors manifest in emotion regulation deficits and alcohol use in a sex- dependent manner.
