NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Direct Metal Laser Melting Alloy 718 Fuel Preburner Chamber Coupon Development. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to GE Additive under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that GE Additive is the sole provider of Direct Metal Laser Melting Alloy 718 Fuel Preburner Chamber Coupon DevelopmentNASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. 

The Government anticipates procurement of the Upgrades, Repairs, and Maintenance to the Direct Metal Deposition (DMD). DM3D is the original manufacturer of the DMD 405D, owns the technical data package (TDP), and is the only known qualified source to perform this effort. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
