The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Milford, Connecticut, requires Genomic DNA Sequencing Services in support of NEFSC scientific missions as specified in the solicitation and statement of work.
This sequencing information will provide vital information to ongoing investigations regarding environmental disease mechanisms and the genetic component involved in causes, outcomes, and progression of environmental diseases.The DNA Sequencing Services Contract will provide high quality DNA sequenceing of individual samples and accompanying bioinformatics support.

Synopsis:NASA/NSSC has a requirement for DNA Sequencing Services. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to Bigelow Laboratory For Ocean Sciences under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that Bigelow Laboratory For Ocean Sciences is the sole provider of DNA Sequencing Services.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.
