The Government is requesting the contractor perform weld inspection services. See Attachment 1 for a complete description of the requirement. The period of performance will be 30 days after Notice to Proceed.

Example pictures of one of the doors is included for your reference.The Air National Guard recently had welds fail on a vertical lift fabric hangar door structural members and is requiring an assessment of all welds on door-bottom beams for all vertical lift fabric hangar doors. Work includes completing a weld inspection and providing a Weld Inspection Report.
