Install approved duct smoke detectors in accordance with 2021 SC ICC Mechanical/IGFC code. Install adequate size transition ducts and plenums, minimum duct insulation to prevent heat and air loss. All duct transition joints, duct connections, and diffusers must be sealed with approved duct sealant. A complete test and inspection must be performed of the system at final inspection before acceptance of the system. Is received.

Retain for reuse upon MUA replacement. .2 Remove existing flex duct joints for replacement. .3 Disconnect existing exhaust stack from unit as necessary for removal of unit. .4 Disconnect MUA unit from natural gas, electrical supply and controls. Cut back service as required. .5 Remove MUA unit. Disassemble as necessary for safe transport from premises.
