This work includesdemolishing alarm devices for the existing high expansion foam system, abandon remaining components of the system in place. The existing wet sprinkler system will remain. It alsoincludes upgrading the alarm system with a combined mass notification and fire alarm system plus installing a new electrical panel and mini-split system in the alarm room to meetcurrent fire code.
The US Embassy in Berlin, Germany requires preventive maintenance for the building package unit (MS or Mini-Split) air conditioning systems. These services shall result in all systems being serviced under this agreement being in good operational condition when activated.
The purpose of this project is to install new , or upgrade existing, mini split cooling systems in these rooms to prevent overheating of the communications equipment. Please see the Statement of Work (SOW), Draw ings, Specifications, and Wage Determination for further information.
