This requirement is for a time-limited evaluation of low earth orbit (LEO) satellite internet services for a limited number of Forest Service locations. The locations are defined in the attached Statement Of Objectives (SOO). The evaluation will include analysis of use aspects of the service such as throughput, delay, installation, support, and procurement.
The general requirement is commercial satellite internet solution using LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellites at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The intent of this contract is to provide satellite terminals and internet service to the terminals enabling users to connect devices to the internet. The service provider shall provide materials required for the commercial internet service.
