Eating disorders are associated with increased risk of mortality and morbidity. As ofAugust 2020, eating disorders became the fifth most prominent mental health condition. Additionally, a recent review of 70 research articles revealed eating disorder symptom severity and incidence of probable diagnoses appear to be elevated duringthe COVID-19 pandemic.
The Contractor shall be responsible for providing a full spectrum of residential services for various eating disorders as well as dual diagnosis which combines psychological and emotional support with nutritional guidance. Eating Disorder programs shall be tailored to the needs of each individual and their family.
