The building was built in 1966 and is in need of large scale upgrades to the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems due to ongoing maintenance and operational issues. UNT would like to replace or upgrade the MEP systems to alleviate these issues and provide more reliability and energy efficiency of the building.
This opportunity is available only to the utility contractor servicing Marine Corp Air Station (MCAS) Miramar Utilities Energy Service Contract (UESC-2) N62473-21-G-4402, Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), for the primary objective of delivering reliability, resiliency, and energy efficiency to MCAS Miramar, including replacement of lighting fixtures, HVAC, and transformers.

The contractor shall schedule and perform a construction task for the replacement of the existing heating boiler system in Building 304 at the Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Harrison Twp. MI. The Contractor will provide complete and operable boiler systems for B304. The replacement boiler shall be high efficiency condensing boiler.
Scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: The removal of the existing steam boilers, boiler feed pump, steam and condensate piping and shell- and-tube heat exchangers and replacement with new high efficiency hot water boilers at the Bondurant Intermediate School.
Eligible repairs include flooring system, system upgrades (i.e. plumbing, electrical, and HVAC), roof repair and/or replacement, energy efficiency replacement (replacement windows and doors), lead, mold, or asbestos abatement, and accessibility features for entering and exiting the home (i.e. wheelchair ramps, hand rails and grab bars, kitchen and bathroom adaptations, and door alterations).
