The IHS is transitioning to the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) Telecommunication contract for telecommunication services. Under EIS, GSA will no longer manage the voice accounts for IHS facilities so each facility needs to transfer account management to their facility. Each facility will be responsible for managing its voice accounts. This includes paying invoices, submitting service charges, and requesting support assistance.

A primary concern for TSA is that our environment requires GSA EIS contract holders have the capability of providing service and coverage nationwide to every location where TSA has voice and data communication services. GSA EIS uses 929 Core-Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs) to define required coverage area units.
