The DLA Strategic Materials proposes to issue a contract to obtain 3,000 metric tons (MT) of (Electrolytic Manganese Metal) EMM.

Defense Logistics Agency Strategic Materials (DLASM) intends to purchase 3,000 metric tons (MT) of EMM flakes with a manganese (Mn) content of at least 99.70% by weight of total substances. DLASM will include an option to increase quantity up to 3,000 MT of the same EMM flakes.NOTE: The solicitation documents are attachd within the solicitation. 08/25/2020 - Question and Answers Part 2 are attached as a seperate attachment.   

Defense Logistics Agency Strategic Materials intends to purchase a total of 7,140 metric tons (MT) of EMM flakes with a manganese (Mn) content of at least 99.00% by mass (Mn content = 100 x (mass of contained Mn ÷ mass of total substances). See attached Sources Sought Notice and Statement of Work.
