Army Contracting Command, New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a new sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Electronic Thermal Warning Devices (ETWDs) to Design West Technologies (DWT) 2701 Dow Avenue, Tustin, CA, 92780.

Pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, this contract remains sole source and continues to include the same requirements for the procurement of Electronic Thermal Warning Device (ETWD) Kits and Parts in support of the M777A2 Howitzer. The contract duration remains unchanged.

Purpose:  The Army Contracting Command (ACC) New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ  07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Joint Program Manager Office Towed Artillery Systems (JPMO-TAS) to identify potential sources for the Electronic Thermal Warning Device (ETWD). Description: This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of JPMO-TAS or RDECOM-ARDEC.

In addition, the Contractor shall participate in trouble shooting and diagnostic review of failures and issues that could occur during the acceptance firing, including all GFE equipment (HyPAK, Cannon & Primer Feed Mechanism (PFM) and Electronic Thermal Warning Device) On Site Field Representative.
