The goal of the Elevator Modernization Program (“EMP”) is to address necessary major repairs, modernization and alteration of antiquated elevators that may otherwise affect the health and safety of residents residing in PSH. The EMP NOFA is intended to help nonprofit organizations who master lease PSH SRO buildings and the private landlords of existing City funded Master Leased PSH SRO buildings.

Project Title: B1990 Elevator Modernization Project Location: Shaw AFB, SC This requirement is to modernize the elevator for the control tower (building 1990) on Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Work for this project includes replacing the existing control system, furnishing and installing a new overspeed governor and governor rope as well as car and counterweight roller guides.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for an elevator modernization at the Detroit Metro Airport's base building. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the attached SIR/request for Proposal (and attachments). It is anticipated that a stand-alone contract with firm fixed-Price pricing arrangement will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.
