Embankment Repairs: Reworking the embankment section with placement of compacted fill, installation of a new concrete drive, turf reinforcement matting, and vegetation. Right Overlook: Improvements to the non‐overflow concrete section with leveling concrete, new guardrail, fencing, and lighting.

The Work includes dredging sediment material to create a forebay, lake shoreline erosion protection and aquatic benches, a fountain for aeration, a wooden retaining wall, a new concrete spillway on the dam with the capacity to convey the 100-year storm event, dam embankment repairs including rebuilding the downstream dam embankment with a graded filter drain and blanket drain and a significant amount of shoreline vegetation management and forest mitigation

Army Corps of Engineers – Tulsa District has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for the Cherokee Chute Embankment Repair. 

The scope of work includes removal of the existing failing ditch embankment, installation of the new concrete ditch embankment, pipe repair of the failing 48 inch outlet pipe, grassing, and erosion control in accordance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications.
