Notice is hereby given that the Merced County Association of Governments (MCAG) has released project number RFP20231221MCAG – Consultant to Prepare a Service Authority for Freeway Emergencies (SAFE) Strategic Plan. MCAG is seeking proposals from consulting firms with qualifications and experience necessary to prepare a Strategic Plan for the Service Authority for Freeway Emergencies (SAFE) program.
This RFP requires the selected contractor to provide management and maintenance services over a large service territory, including 24/7 on-call and emergency services, freeway traffic control, and utility marking from USA requests, within a specified response time.
The contractor shall provide a LJVAMC Parking and Traffic Study to include analysis and proposed solutions for four (4) distinct phases of site conditions on, adjacent, and near the LJVAMC campus, to include the evaluation of UCSD feeder roads and intersections, roads leading to the I-5 freeway ramp interchange, emergency access routes, public transit access, and bicycle and pedestrian considerations.
