Training programs provide industry recognized credentials such as Flagger, Forklift, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10, and First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The training programs focus on building job readiness skills, challenges of working in the industry, and addressing barriers to employment and retention.
No payroll or employment taxes of any kind shall be withheld or paid by the CITY with respect to payments to CONTRACTOR. The payroll or employment taxes that are the subject of this paragraph include, but are not limited to, FICA, FUTA, federal income tax, state personal income tax, state disability insurance tax and state unemployment insurance tax.
Vocational training services shall work with the Growing Grounds Nursery and Farm and supported employment programs. Program 2: “Vocational Training and Supported Employment” SLOBHD is seeking proposals for the provision of vocational services that engage, orient, prepare, and support mental health clients to work independently in the community.
