The USAF is looking to establish a 10-year contract for the sustainment of Aircraft Engine Test Stands.The Engine Test Stand (ETS) system has two different top-level configurations: the T-20 and the T-21 series.
The T-20 test stand supports testing, at the Field and Intermediate Maintenance Level, of turbojet and turbofan aircraft engines that exist in the Air Force inventory to evaluate problems so that repairs can be accomplished and perform production runs after repairs are complete.
Repairs of various T-20 and T-21 engine test stands, adapter kits, and ID&C as well as supporting the relocation and commissioning of test stands as required due to relocation. Some ID&C repairs may include software changes that are driven by requirements. The contractor shall provide a phone based technical support to trouble shoot and/or resolve the field user's issue(s) to the maximum extent possible.
This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification of a Test Stand Gearbox Repair for use by United States Air Force (USAF) personnel.
