The project will provide pedestrian improvements along a section of Military Highway and at select intersections throughout Norfolk. Work will include concrete sidewalk, drainage system modifications, curb and gutter, curb ramps, pedestrian signals, tree removal, landscaping, and other associated items.

This new project will be a gateway to our country and will transform an obsolete border facility into a state-of-the-art commercial port of entry, which will improve safety and security for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
