The general description of the work is to repair and regrade existing project nature trail to prevent future erosion. Contractor shall furnish all equipment/supplies; all tools, labor and supervision needed to safely complete the following project. The final product should include a newly worked trail with erosion prevention, aesthetically pleasing to project staff and its visitors

A trail designer will be hired separately by the City. It is expected that the environmental firm and trail designer will work in conjunction to identify the best trail alignment to avoid environmental impacts and provide the best mountain bike experience. The final trail design, based on the environmental process and outreach with the Golden Eagle Homeowners Association, will be utilized for the construction of the trail.

It is expected that the trail will be partially located on an unofficial but existing mountain bike trail and that in certain locations additional trail will need to be constructed to complete the new trail. The goal for the environmental services will be to prepare CEQA documentation for the proposed trail. The environmental conditions for the proposed trail alignment will need to be documented.
