The Department of State (DOS), Diplomatic Security (DS) is seeking to obtain contractor support to provide inbound and outbound courier escort services in support of the Diplomatic Courier Service and the many DOS, DS Offices around the world.
In support of all the DS Missions abroad and within the U.S., the requirement to escort and transport classified pouches by courier services must be accomplished and reach those destinations. In pursuit of those objectives DOS requires that courier escort services be provided by a variety of labor professionals as outlined in this description of requirements.
Locations for contracted Secure Escort/Transportation Services for both ambulatory and/or litter patients (with or without restraints) include: the Main Clinic, 1201 North Muldoon, Anchorage AK; Domiciliary, 3001 C Street, Anchorage AK; Joint Venture Hospital, JBER, 5955 Zeamer Ave., JBER, AK; to/from local Anchorage hospitals.
PROTECTION: Provides traffic and/or crowd control; assesses nature of further assistance needed and makes timely and appropriate arrangements; may gather background information and provide threat assessments regarding high risk locations, safety of persons or property, biological or physical threats; may respond to emergency situations and provide CPR or first aid to injured parties; may transport or escort couriers with currency and prisoners or
