DOT&PF is seeking consultants with expertise in wetland delineation, function and value assessments, Section 404/10 permitting and mitigation plans, freshwater essential fish habitat, invasive plant species surveys, noise studies, and wildlife surveys.
The purpose of the research is to classify and understand Atlantic shark nursery areas per the FMP for Atlantic tunas, swordfish, and sharks, to collect and analyze data for stock assessments and management, and to identify critical habitat areas for Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) research in support of a multi-year research program on shark nursery grounds and essential fish habitat.
