The City of South Gate (City) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional design services necessary to prepare Plans, Specifications, Estimates and Environmental Documents for the I–710 Firestone Boulevard Southbound On Ramp Modification Project (On-ramp Project), Federal Project HP21L-5257 (036), City Project No. 354-ST.
Previous street improvement, the right of way, environmental documents and utility information will be included for reference. The consultant will serve as the central coordinator for all activities between the consulting team, City staff, RCFC&WCD and other agencies. Below is a brief outline of the suggested scope of services.
Napa County Department of Public Works requests proposals from qualified professional firms to provide the following services: Project Approval and Environmental Document services; as needed Right-of-Way Acquisition services; Plans, Specifications, and Estimates services; and Design services during Construction.
Consultant shall prepare and complete all required construction documents (except environmental studies and environmental documents), including plans, specifications, and cost estimates (with mobilization cost to no more than 3.00% of total cost estimate less contingency) for the complete design of the improvements. 2. Consultant shall prepare demolition plan for any existing structure needs to be demolished. 3.
The Consultant will be provided all previous design documents including environmental documents for permitting, survey data, drainage report, storm water considerations, and other technical reports previously completed to help evaluate and finalize the project design.

In addition, it is anticipated that the City may utilize the selected firm to provide other municipal engineering services on a project-by-project basis under separate Task Orders. It is desired that the selected firm or team utilize a single individual who will serve as the City Engineer and sole point of contact regarding any and all engineering and/or contractual matters.
