The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, (NSWC PCD), Panama City, FL intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Stratus Systems, Incorporated (Inc.), 7550 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037 for fabrication and installation support of Vehicle Power (VP) Kits for integration into the USMC Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) Emergency Egress Lighting System (EELS).
Scope of Work: Fabrication, delivery and installation support of an interpretive exhibit wall in the atrium.
The proposed installation support requires installation per ISEA requirement. Gulf Copper has unique experience working with and modifying the ships and systems per the SIDs. The lack of this experience for an alternate source would generate a great amount of time, effort, and cost to overcome which will cause us to miss our installation milestone.
The proposed installation support requires installation per the Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), which includes, but is not limited to, equipment cable runs from the forward Auxiliary Machinery Room (AMR) to the Combat Information Center (CIC), fabrication of foundations for the new junction boxes, and verification of the installation.
