The proposed acquisition is for the procurement of fabricated stainless steel cabinets with counter tops, new CPO, Mess, Port and Starboard Beverage Lines and other misc. fabricated galley habitability items. The authority FAR 6.302-2 cited above is applicable for the urgent support to be provided under the authority requested to meet critical and necessary requirement in order for the Navy to send a ready ship back to sea.
