Facilities may include, but are not limited to, public schools, libraries, recreation centers, senior care facilities, and group homes for persons with a disability. The COVID Clean Public Facilities and School Improvements and Upgrades program is funded through a simplified application process, with grantee follow-up and negotiated award.
The District has one K-5 elementary school, one 6-8 middle school, one 9-12 high school. In addition to the schools, the District manages a district office and transportation building for a total facilities footprint of over 160,000 square feet. The facility assessment will be used to develop, and be incorporated into, a long range facility plan.
Bids shall be clearly marked “2024 Safe Routes to Schools Improvements (PW-24-01)”. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days following bid opening. This project is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Project generally includes installation of sidewalk, ADA ramps, and stormwater facilities along a 1,200 ft section of Cedaroak Drive. Project includes 2-inch mill and 2-inch overlay.
