The proposed fall protection system will prevent operators from falling into the water or contacting the float while performing maintenance. The stool capturing device must be able to catch stool without allowing it to contaminate the subject and without letting the stool specimen to become contaminated by falling into any water in a toilet bowl. The stool that is captured must then remain in this uncontaminated state until the subject is ready to transfer the stool to a sample vial.
