The spatial scale for this effort is the Neuse River Basin beginning below the Falls Lake dam and extending down to the estuary. The Falls Lake watershed is excluded from explicit modeling in this effort to avoid unnecessary duplication of existing efforts by the Upper Neuse River Basin Association to model this watershed.
