Line and Community Air Quality Monitoring, with work to commence on or about December 1, 2022, and be completed on November 30, 2023.
The Tennessee Air National Guard, Memphis ANG Base, Memphis, TN has been tasked to construct a secondary fence line which involves installing a 5,500-foot-long electrostatic powder coated black anti-climb fence and gates utilizing expanded metal mesh panels. Contractor shall provide approved design for concrete footings.
Building site requires "line of sight" connectivity with Jack's Valley & United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) airfield. Project consists of core & shell structure and foundations; elevator conveyance systems; electrical/ mechanical service & distribution components/systems; fire protection alarm/suppression; information technology infrastructure, communications & security systems support infrastructure.
Additionally, outside of the hangar support, the airport facilities will coordinate and allow for storage space within the fence line to store shipping containers, rolling stock and other items required to operate air assets from this location.Additionally, the Government is seeking 3,500 square feet of office and shop space to include HVAC, latrine facilities to accommodate approximately 40 personnel working in 3 x 8 hour shifts over a 24 hour period
