This project consists of offshore structural improvements and modifications to the existing stern berth facility in Auke Bay to accommodate the AMHS ACF ferry vessel and includes replacement of two stern fenders, removal of one existing 5-pile dolphin, and installing 3 new 5-pile floating fender dolphins. Work includes structural steel fabrication and installation, pile driving, and pile tension anchors.

This project would relocate one existing mooring dolphin and associated access gangway structures at the Whittier ferry terminal to accommodate the new Alaska Class Ferry (ACF) vessel. Work would also include refurbishing a transfer bridge floor beam connection located near the abutment end and miscellaneous structural work including: girder access hatch repairs, transfer bridge deck holdown repairs, and repair of dolphin fender brackets.
