Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) Support Services MATOC SynopsisThe U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC) is planning an acquisition for the procurement of AFFF Support Services. AFFF support includes the contractor removing, disposing, and replacing all of the foam containing perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from the existing fire protection systems on Government installations.
SCOPE OF WORKThis project includes, but is not limited to, the Construction or Reconstruction of the Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) Pond. Consisting of excavation, demolition of existing concrete footings, chain link fencing, and removal of all vegetation. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies, and perform all work required according to the drawings and specifications of the contract.
Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center’s (CEHNC) Contracting Directorate is seeking information from interested contractors who can provide services to perform the removal and disposal of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) containing perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Work may also include removal, transportation, and disposal of other types of firefighting foams.
