The intent of this solicitation is to establish an annual requirements contract for new filter media at the City of Arlington's John F Kubala Water Treatment Plant including installation, disinfection, testing, cleaning, and underdrain repairs. The project will need to start in Spring 2024. The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically.

Removal of existing sand media filters. Installation of new sand media filters on existing inlet and outlet manifolds, new 4” PVC Schedule 40 pipe back flush line, new view clear tube, new automatic back flush controller, new electric wiring and repair existing system leaks. Testing of system and troubleshooting filter station operation. See attached for brand name or equal specifications.viii.
