We will support the scores of county pantries through the MontCo Anti-Hunger Network (MAHN).

In 2021, NYC Health + Hospitals launched the Food Navigator program with the aim of providing an innovative one-stop shop that easily and reliably connects patients experiencing food insecurity to relevant and appropriate resources. The program is the largest in scale of its kind and offers connection to a broad range of resources, such as SNAP assistance, emergency food, home-delivered meals, and tailored programs to manage chronic disease.

First published Thursday, September 17, 2020 The University awarded a contract for development of a food resource website. Collaboration, data collection and development of a customized food resource website for the state of Illinois to meet the needs of low income clientele during the food crises caused by COVID-19. This is funded by a SNAP-Ed grant.

The goals of service include:Host the Food Hub Network Resources website and provide reporting metrics. Create content, tools, and upload resources related to the training and operations of commercial food hubs. Maintain the website for ongoing training purposes and as a reference resource for food hubs and other shared-use commercial kitchens.
