The successful Proponent will act as a one-window contact between industry stakeholders and provincial wildfire staff during the fire season (March 1 – October 31).
Supplemental Trailer Rentals - Rocky Mountain House Forest Area Project Description :Within the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area, two (2) primary firebases (Rocky and Shunda) are strategically located. These firebases provide pre-suppression placement of resources (helitack, unit, and firetack crews) in a readiness position to respond to initial wildfire starts.
Fort McMurray Forest Area - Fort Chipewyan Facilities / Road Maintenance Project Description :Fort Chipewyan is located 300 km North of Fort McMurray, in a remote community with winter road access only. The Fort McMurray Forest Area holds land reservations consisting of; 1 home, bunkhouse, numerous outbuildings, and an initial attack firebase.
